This month we have first news on the 2012 range of bikes from Litespeed and Quintana Roo.

Apart from the expected seasonal changes in colour schemes, there are noteworthy additions to both lineups;

Litespeed launch the L-series bikes - these are lightweight UCI legal road bikes and the 2012 lineup consists of four models - the L1R (available as frameset only), The L1 Dura Ace, the Li2 with the new electronic Ultegra groupset, and the L3 Ultegra.

Quintana Roo have something very special - the Illicito (available as frameset only). This is a UCI illegal (hence the name) tri bike which has the existing SHIFT technology from the Cd0.1 taken to the next level via removal of the non-drive side seat stay to further improve aerodynamics.

The Cd0.1 receives updated specifications, with Reynolds Assault wheels now available as an option on the 2012 Cd0.1 Ultegra.

We'll have stocks of these frames and bikes available from late October. We'll be stocking limited products and sizes so if there's something you're keen on please let us know ASAP, as the earlier we change our orders with the supplier the better your chances of securing the perfect bike at the right price...

A word on pricing - with the US$ exchange rate all over the place recently, we have set our retail prices with the intention of them being within 10% of self-import cost. If you find a better price elsewhere please contact us and we will do our very best to meet the price.

February TP Therapy special - Buy a Starter Kit and any DVD, and get a set of Stability Pods FREE - and delivery is still free too! Bought together these would normally cost $229.90 so you save $69.95

We're also clearing remaining stocks of 2011 Litespeed and Quintana Roo bikes - contact us for details of what's available, discounts are 30-50% off RRP so grab 'em while you can! (Tip - not all are listed in the Specials section, so have a look around...)

German National Football Team Using GRID During Recovery

We were thrilled to see an article in the German paper with a huge photo of the German National Football Team rolling out on the Grid for their recovery workout.  Its incredible to see these athletes perform and it makes us proud to know they are using Trigger Point Performance products to gain an edge on the competition!

Thankfully they didn't have to utilise the TP Therapy 'edge' on the All Whites...

Bike Fixation is the exclusive NZ distributor for American Bicycle Group for the Litespeed and Quintana Roo brands.

Our aim is to get you on your dream bike at a cost that is internationally competitive, yet offers full support with a locally-backed manufacturers warranty. Great kit, personal service, good prices, end of story. Like everyone else, our prices can vary according to how strong the NZ$ is against the US$, so call us if you think you can get a better deal elsewhere and we'll do our best to match it.

We offer a price match service on any deal you can get on a new Litespeed, Quintana Roo, AlphaQ or Topolino product through any website in the world, so you are always able to get the best deal available and retain local warranty back-up by buying in NZ.

Please note this is not a guarantee we'll always be able to better any price, but we will give it our best shot and will wish you well should you be able to get a better combination of landed price, service and backup from another retailer anywhere in the world!

A number of people have asked us whether we sell 'importer direct' - the answer to this is a very firm YES! We're also very happy if you prefer to buy via your local retailer and respect the fact that there is added value in the ability to see, touch and feel a product first hand. With your local retailer you can also get demonstrations for TP Therapy kit and experience the benefits first hand before you buy.

But we also recognise that with the expansion of the internet the market is now global and we need to price our bikes on a basis that is internationally competitive with self import prices. For all Litespeed and Quintana Roo bikes/frames we aim for our retail pricing to be within 10% of self import cost, in our view a small premium to pay for local service, advice and warranty support.

So we could have a higher retail price and offer you bigger 'discounts' but we think you'd rather have a competitive retail price to begin with! Please tell me if you think otherwise...

Check for a list of stockists in your area by product category. We welcome the opportunity to work via new dealers, just give us a call and we will get you started.

Please feel free to call us for a chat, I'm always keen to share information and exchange thoughts. And thanks for visiting our site!

All the best

David
